HISTORY
The Club was formed in 1986 and disbanded in 2019.  Its aim was to promote the three Schnauzer varieties:

- Miniature Schnauzers

- Schnauzers

- Giant Schnauzers.

Between 1986 and 2019 the Club hosted shows, promoted obedience training, held social events, hosted lectures, run grooming demonstrations and published books.

RESCUE
Fortunately, there is a low dumping rate of the three Schnauzer breeds. The Schnauzer Club worked with the RSPCA and with other groups and individuals to help rehome those Schnauzers that require assistance.  This is not always a case of rescue, in some cases it is due to ill-health or other factors that loving owners are unable to keep their dogs. We stood ready to assist them as well.
